Day 1: Chengdu - Lhasa by flight
Departing from Chengdu to Lhasa in the morning,arriving at Lhasa Gonggar Airport which is at a elevation of 3000 meters, guide will meet you at the airport,drive to Lhasa urban area, en route visit Brahmaputra valley, Buddha Sculpture made in the 11th century and Tibetan village etc. on the drive to Lhasa and check in the Hotel, Free and have a good rest in the Lhasa city today, avoid extreme physical activity and sickness of high altitude.Dinner and supper excluded, overnight in Lhasa.
Day 2 :Lhasa Full Day City Tour
Visit the main tourist attractions in Lhasa:Potala Palace,Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street.
Day 3: Lhasa - Yangpachen -Namtso lake
In the morning, drive to Yangpachen,the hot spring, en route see the Northern Tibet Grassland and the Yangpachen geothermal power plant, and then to Namtso lake,one of the three holy lakes in Tibet,then back to Lhasa,overnight in Lhasa.
(Visiting Namtso is available only in summer and autumn)
Day 4: Lhasa--Shigatse
Drive from Lhasa to Shigatse (about 350km). On the way visit Yamdrok Lake, Nojin Kangtsang Glacier near Karola Pass.Overnight in Shigatse.
Day 5: Tashilhunpo Monastery -Lhasa
Visit Tashilumpo Monastery. Drive back to Lhasa.
Day 6: Lhasa - Chengdu by airplane
Leave from Lhasa to Chengdu by flight,end tour.
