Luodai Ancient Town has a long history. It is said that it were a street in Han Dynasty, named “Wanjing Street”. 85% above residents in the town are the descendant of Hakka immigrants, mainly from Guangdong, Jiangxi, Hubei and Hunan etc. One thousand years’ culture mingles with the various cultures.
In this ancient town, we may see folklore, historic remaining, ancient architecture, and Hakka guildhalls anywhere, in addition to the well-preserved old streets, folk houses of Ming and Qing dynasties, and Golden Dragon Temple etc. In addition, the yearly Water Dragon Festival and Fire Dragon Festival are kinds of special activity Hakka people pass down for several hundred years.
Luodai Ancient Town has abundant local products such as Hakka snacks,traditional handworks etc.After enjoying the time there,we come back to Chengdu about 16:00 to 17:00.
